After 25 years of running a business and raising a family, Steve Katz wanted to do more to help the State of New York. Steve is not a career politician - he is a proud husband and father of four, small-business owner and veterinarian who knows firsthand the hardship of owning a home, raising a family and running a business in New York State. And it’s this firsthand experience of running a growing business and paying ever-increasing property taxes as a homeowner that have prompted him to become a public servant.
